What to do if you're involved in an accident

1. STOP IMMEDIATELY, do not block road. Warn oncoming traffic.
2. TURN IGNITION OFF to prevent fire hazard.
3. HELP THE INJURED, but be sure to not move seriously injured victims. Then call 911.
4. TAKE LICENSE NUMBERS of other cars.
5. SECURE NAMES, address of other drivers, witnesses, injured persons. Exchange information from drivers licenses.
6. MAKE DRAWING OF SCENE
7. DON'T ACCEPT CLAIM settlement in haste.
8. CALL your lawyer. If you do not have one, call our office at (407) 834-5700.
9. CALL your insurance company's claims office.
10. OBTAIN a copy of the Florida exchange of driver's information form.
